Dr. Norberto Mancera, MD
Dr. Mancera was born in New York City and moved to South Florida at age four. He attended Nova Southeastern University for college, where he graduated top of his class with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and minors in Business, Chemistry, and Psychology. Dr. Mancera then went to the University of South Florida for medical school, where he was the president of his class. Dr. Mancera has achieved multiple academic accolades, published several peer-reviewed articles in top medical journals, and authored several textbook chapters.
His passion for surgery and patient care led Dr. Mancera to pursue a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery accredited by the American Society of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery (ASOPRS). He was honored to complete his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he gained expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of eyelid and tear duct disorders, skin cancer reconstruction, orbital tumors, facial/orbital trauma, and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck. He is also well versed in less invasive aesthetic rejuvenation techniques ranging from neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, etc.) to fillers (Restylane, Juvéderm, etc.) to lasers/energy-based devices.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. Dr. Mancera is fluent in Spanish and excited to provide patients of all ages with top-quality care.
Taylor Gillespie, NP
Taylor is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She graduated from The University of Akron earning a Master’s Degree in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in 2020. She also earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Kent State University in 2016. Taylor became certified in injections through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in 2019 and has had extensive experience treating thousands of patients throughout her aesthetics career.
Taylor recently moved from Ohio to Florida in hopes to pursue new opportunities for professional and personal growth. She is a successful young professional who is steadfast in her mission to enhance her patient’s health, wellness, and confidence on every level. Taylor’s approach to cosmetics is centered around the belief that a person’s physical appearance and overall health are interconnected.
Thelma Perret, CME/CCE
Thelma Perret is a dedicated and highly skilled Medical Aesthetician and Electrologist with over 15 years of experience. Thelma’s expertise as an Aesthetician extends to various areas such as Microneedling as well as Chemical Peels, and she is known for her exceptional skills and knowledge in treating pigment disorders, particularly melasma, a condition she has personally dealt with since her early 40s. In addition, Thelma also provides superior services as an Electrologist, specializing in Laser Hair Reduction and Removal.
Working under the supervision and delegation of esteemed Medical Director, Dr. Mancera, Thelma ensures that her clients receive the highest standard of care. She collaborates with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and has even trained with renowned dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi to further enhance her expertise.
Thelma’s commitment to learning and professional growth is evident in her teaching experience at Keiser University. She firmly believes that continuous education is essential for personal and professional development in the ever-evolving field of aesthetics.
Thelma’s approach to skincare goes beyond just the treatments she provides as she believes in a holistic approach which considers the overall well-being of every client’s specific needs. She emphasizes the importance of healthy lifestyle habits, incorporating aesthetic treatments, and maintaining a dedicated everyday skincare routine to achieve and maintain healthy skin.
A native Floridian, Thelma was born in Jacksonville, North Florida, and later relocated to the vibrant Tampa Bay area in 1994. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, attending live music performances, and cherishing quality time with her friends and family, including her two feisty and energetic grandchildren.
Diane Hooten
Diane Hooten is from Tennessee, where she met her husband Tom Hooten, a native of Clearwater, while at Vanderbilt and he was a Zimmer Rep. Diane attended Western Kentucky University and received her nursing degree, BSN, and Master of Science in Hospital Administration. She and her husband moved to Clearwater in 1997, where they raised their two children, Annah-Lauren and Thomas.
Diane was an active R.N. for 40+ years and has practiced within almost every aspect of the nursing arena. She started her career at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, KY as a floor nurse, and received training in IV, Relief Charge, Admissions, ICU, and CCU nursing. She also trained at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN to specialize in Neurosurgery. Diane has certifications in Critical Care, ACLS certification, and hemodialysis, in which she worked for 5 years Later, she entered the field of Cosmetic Surgery, which she worked in for 20+ years.
Diane’s warm and inviting personality, commitment to customer care, and extensive medical background make her an awesome Front Desk assistant. She can change hats quickly to assist the injector or answer the phone and answer questions to meet our client’s needs. She is one of the first faces you see and the first voice you hear, and she is committed to the highest level of excellence in service and commitment to our clients.
